Sellalab, la piattaforma di innovazione a impatto del gruppo Sella, è stata premiata nell’ambito del Premio ABI 2026 per l’Innovazione nei Servizi Bancari, ottenendo il riconoscimento nella categoria “Sviluppo dell’ecosistema e del territorio”.

La giuria ha valorizzato in particolare il modello integrato di open innovation territoriale, capace di connettere distretti industriali, imprese e nuove generazioni, rafforzando il ruolo del gruppo Sella come abilitatore di crescita economica, innovazione e competitività sui territori. Un approccio orientato a supportare imprese e comunità nella transizione verso modelli imprenditoriali responsabili e a impatto positivo.

Il riconoscimento è stato assegnato per le iniziative realizzate da Sellalab nel corso del 2025 tra cui: Texploration, il programma dedicato alla filiera tessile e volto a favorire l’incontro tra i fabbisogni di innovazione delle Pmi del settore e le soluzioni avanzate proposte da startup nazionali e internazionali; U.CAN Impact, l’iniziativa nata per identificare e supportare progetti collaborativi tra Pmi, startup e imprese sociali in grado di generare impatto positivo sociale, economico e ambientale; Fin 4 Teen, il percorso di educazione finanziaria e imprenditorialità responsabile rivolto agli studenti dai 12 ai 19 anni su tutto il territorio nazionale.

Nel corso del 2025, le attività di Sellalab hanno generato più di 200 eventi a cui hanno partecipato oltre 17 mila persone.

La cerimonia di premiazione si è svolta a Milano in occasione del Forum ABI Lab, appuntamento annuale dedicato all’innovazione nel settore bancario. Il Premio ABI per l’Innovazione nei Servizi Bancari, istituito nel 2011, promuove il ruolo delle banche nel percorso per la promozione dell’innovazione nei servizi, valorizzando il loro contributo alla trasformazione digitale. L’edizione 2026 ha voluto valorizzare i progetti che si sono distinti per capacità innovativa, qualità delle soluzioni adottate e impatto sui processi, sui servizi e sull’organizzazione. Particolare attenzione è stata rivolta alle iniziative che, anche attraverso l’utilizzo di nuovi paradigmi tecnologici, hanno contribuito a rafforzare la competitività, la resilienza e la sostenibilità del sistema bancario.
