Una “Notte degli archivi” per condividere il patrimonio storico e culturale

Torna l’appuntamento con Archivissima, il festival nazionale dedicato alla promozione degli archivi storici e alla valorizzazione dell’heritage culturale e d’impresa, con una nuova e coinvolgente edizione della Notte degli Archivi in programma venerdì 6 giugno. A Biella, l’evento si svolgerà presso l’IIS Eugenio Bona (via Gramsci 22), dalle ore 18.30 alle 22, e vedrà protagonisti otto archivi d’impresa del territorio – realtà associate a Museimpresa – l’Associazione Italiana dei Musei e Archivi d’Impresa, tra i quali l’Archivio Storico del gruppo Sella e Fondazione Sella, che condivideranno con il pubblico il proprio patrimonio storico e culturale.

“Dalla parte del futuro” è il tema che guida questa edizione di Archivissima: un invito a considerare gli archivi non come meri contenitori del passato, ma come spazi attivi di riflessione, ispirazione e progettazione. Gli archivi custodiscono molto più di documenti, immagini e oggetti: conservano visioni, esperienze e idee che hanno smosso il mondo e che continuano a generare futuro.

Contro ogni luogo comune che li vorrebbe inerti e silenziosi, gli archivi si rivelano alleati preziosi del domani. Sono luoghi collettivi, nati dalla stratificazione di voci, persone, vicende interconnesse, e ci ricordano che il futuro si costruisce anche – e soprattutto – a partire dalla memoria. Esplorare un archivio significa quindi scoprire le radici delle trasformazioni, riconoscere le identità locali e leggere il passato con uno sguardo rivolto avanti.

Come scriveva Gianni Rodari in Tante storie per giocare, “stare dalla parte del futuro” significa immaginare finali alternativi, accogliere la pluralità dei significati, reinventare i racconti e le traiettorie. Significa anche porre – oggi più che mai – domande cruciali: che mondo vogliamo costruire? Quale cultura, quale lavoro, quale società?

A Biella, otto realtà d’eccellenza accompagneranno i visitatori in un viaggio attraverso storie, documenti e memorie capaci di ispirare il presente e orientare il futuro: Archivio Fondazione FILA Museum, Archivio Storico Gruppo Sella, Maglificio Maggia, MeBo Menabrea Botalla Museum, Fondazione Sella, Fondazione Zegna, Istituto Istruzione Superiore Eugenio Bona, Piacenza 1733.

Ogni archivio racconterà il proprio percorso, le pratiche di conservazione e valorizzazione adottate, e lo farà attraverso strumenti innovativi che renderanno l’esperienza ancora più coinvolgente: video immersivi, installazioni multimediali e narrazioni digitali offriranno nuovi modi di accedere alla memoria e ai contenuti archivistici. Alcuni di questi materiali sono stati realizzati proprio dagli studenti dell’IIS Eugenio Bona, protagonisti attivi nella costruzione di uno sguardo contemporaneo sul patrimonio storico del territorio. Un’occasione imperdibile per scoprire il tessuto industriale, culturale e sociale del Biellese, rafforzarne l’identità e trasmetterne i valori anche alle nuove generazioni, attraverso linguaggi accessibili, creativi e condivisi.

L’iniziativa fa parte dell’ottava edizione di Archivissima, che si svolge a Torino dal 5 all’8 giugno, con incontri, talk e performance che intrecciano diversi linguaggi e media, per avvicinare il grande pubblico agli archivi. Nel resto d’Italia, gli eventi si concentrano nella “Notte degli Archivi” del 6 giugno, coinvolgendo centinaia di realtà archivistiche.
