Standard Ethics, an independent London-based international agency specializing in the assessment of sustainability and responsibility policies, has issued its ESG rating to Banca Sella Holding and Banca Sella for the first time. 

The agency, while expressing a positive evaluation of the Group's activities and strategies in terms of sustainability, has given the parent company Banca Sella Holding and Banca Sella a Corporate Standard Ethics Rating of “EE-” (Adequate). 

In addition, thanks to the outlook for further improvement in the medium to long term, Banca Sella Holding has been assigned a Long Term Expected rating of “EE+” (Very Strong) and will be included in the “SE Unlisted Italian Banks Benchmark,” the index that includes the leading unlisted Italian banks complying with international sustainability guidelines, which is scheduled for publication in the first quarter of 2026. 

According to the assessment by Standard Ethics analysts, Sella Group is continuing to pursue a structured path of aligning its corporate policies with the sustainability and responsibility guidelines issued by the UN, OECD, and the EU, both by means of policies and governance tools such as its Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct, and dedicated procedures. The ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) indicators are accurately reported and integrated into the main corporate processes, with a specific focus on improving the quality of the working environment. 

Both sustainability governance and internal ESG risk monitoring and management systems are robust. The activities of Banca Sella Holding and Banca Sella are integrated, and their sustainability strategies are consistent and synergic, sharing a strong propensity for technological and operational innovation.
