Il gruppo Sella ottiene per la prima volta il rating sul climate change del Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) con un punteggio “B”. Un risultato che certifica la qualità della gestione dei rischi climatici, la trasparenza dei dati ambientali e il rafforzamento delle iniziative contro il cambiamento climatico.

Nato nel 2000 a Londra, il Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) è oggi uno dei principali sistemi internazionali di misurazione e divulgazione delle performance ambientali delle imprese. Nel tempo si è affermato come standard globale di riferimento per la rendicontazione su clima, acqua e deforestazione, coinvolgendo oltre 20.000 aziende e migliaia di enti pubblici. Il suo peso non è solo tecnico ma soprattutto finanziario: più di 640 investitori istituzionali, che rappresentano circa 127.000 miliardi di dollari di asset, utilizzano i dati raccolti dal CDP per orientare le decisioni di investimento. Secondo analisi ricorrenti della stampa economico-finanziaria internazionale il CDP è progressivamente diventato una componente strutturale dell’ecosistema Esg, contribuendo a rendere comparabili le informazioni ambientali e a integrare i rischi climatici nei modelli di valutazione delle imprese. Il valore risiede proprio nella sua capacità di trasformare la sostenibilità in dato verificabile: le aziende non sono valutate solo per ciò che dichiarano, ma per la qualità delle informazioni, la governance dei rischi e la coerenza delle strategie di transizione. Il rating CDP non è solo una fotografia interna, ma standard sempre più utilizzato dal mercato finanziario per orientare le decisioni di investimento. Così la sostenibilità da leva meramente reputazionale diventa infrastruttura economica. I rating ambientali entrano nei modelli di valutazione del rischio, incidono sul costo del capitale e ridefiniscono le priorità strategiche delle imprese.

Sul fronte industriale Gruppo Sella accelera anche sugli investimenti in energia rinnovabile: la capacità fotovoltaica installata ha raggiunto 10,6 MW nel 2025, con l’obiettivo di arrivare a 17 MW entro il 2026. A questo si aggiunge un dato ormai strutturale: il 100% dell’energia elettrica acquistata proviene da fonti rinnovabili certificate. Si traducono così progetti di sostenibilità in numeri, processi e risultati misurabili, passando dalla rendicontazione alla trasformazione. Perché, sempre più, la competitività passa anche dalla capacità di governare – e dimostrare – il proprio impatto ambientale.
