Visite guidate e gratuite a Palazzo Bricherasio, oggi sede di Banca Patrimoni Sella & C., in occasione della nona edizione di “Open House Torino”, l’evento pubblico che invita a scoprire case, palazzi, ville e luoghi di interesse della città, valorizzandone così la ricchezza dell’architettura e del paesaggio urbano.

Sabato 6 e domenica 7 giugno, dalle ore 14,30 alle 18,30 previa prenotazione obbligatoria sul sito di Open House Torino (www.openhousetorino.it), cittadini e turisti potranno visitare il palazzo che ospita la sede della banca del gruppo Sella specializzata nella gestione ed amministrazione dei patrimoni della clientela privata ed istituzionale, nel pieno centro di Torino, in via Lagrange 20. 

Costruito nel 1636, Palazzo Bricherasio è stato di proprietà di importanti famiglie che via via lo hanno ampliato e abbellito. A metà dell'Ottocento fu acquistato da Luigi Cacherano di Bricherasio e, alla sua morte, passò in eredità ai figli Sofia ed Emanuele, che furono promotori di importanti iniziative di cui le sale storiche furono testimoni. Il 1° luglio del 1899, all'interno del Palazzo, fu firmato l'atto costitutivo della Fiat, evento raffigurato in un dipinto del pittore biellese Lorenzo Delleani, di cui una copia è ancora oggi esposta e visibile nella sala. Negli anni Novanta nacque la Fondazione Palazzo Bricherasio, per promuovere eventi culturali e l'organizzazione di mostre d'arte moderna e contemporanea. Dopo un periodo di chiusura al pubblico nel 2010 il palazzo è stato acquistato da Banca Patrimoni Sella & C. che ha promosso un ulteriore restauro del complesso, volto alla definitiva valorizzazione e conservazione degli ambienti storici e alla razionale utilizzazione degli spazi da destinare alle attività della banca. Oggi gli spazi del palazzo sono tornati a ospitare mostre, progetti ed iniziative che esplorano nuove dinamiche di senso tra arte, comunità e territorio.

È proprio in quest’ottica che il gruppo Sella aderisce, così, alla nuova edizione di “Open House Torino”, un evento pubblico totalmente gratuito, pensato per permettere di visitare case, palazzi e luoghi di interesse, abitualmente non accessibili, e scoprire così la ricchezza dell’architettura e del paesaggio urbano. Quest’anno a Torino sono aperti al pubblico oltre 170 luoghi.
