Nel mondo dell’impresa sta accadendo qualcosa di significativo: l’innovazione non è più soltanto adozione tecnologia, ma un percorso che unisce competitività, responsabilità e impatto positivo. È il messaggio centrale che emerge dal white paper di Sellalab, la piattaforma di innovazione a impatto del gruppo Sella, dal titolo “Impact Open Innovation – Un nuovo paradigma per l’innovazione responsabile 2026”, realizzato in collaborazione con Cottino Social Impact Campus e ISTUD Business School. Un documento che racconta come la sostenibilità stia diventando un elemento strutturale nei modelli di business di tante realtà italiane, soprattutto tra le PMI.

Negli ultimi anni, la sostenibilità ha infatti superato la dimensione volontaria della Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) per diventare un fattore strategico, guidato anche da un quadro normativo europeo sempre più chiaro. Un cambiamento che non rappresenta un semplice adempimento: è un’occasione per ripensare l’impresa, migliorare processi, rafforzare la fiducia dei clienti e attrarre investimenti.

Il white paper mette a fuoco il livello di maturità delle aziende italiane rispetto all’impatto, grazie a un’analisi condotta da Sellalab insieme a 25 imprese di sette settori produttivi diversi, coinvolte in cinque territori chiave: Biella, Torino, Lecce, Salerno e Padova. Ne emerge un quadro dinamico, fatto di consapevolezza crescente ma anche di sfide ancora aperte.

Dal documento emerge un’Italia imprenditoriale che vuole evolvere, ma che ha bisogno di strumenti, competenze e accompagnamento. È in questo spazio che si inserisce l’azione di Sellalab, che nell’ultimo anno ha rafforzato il proprio ruolo di piattaforma per l’innovazione responsabile dando vita a un numero sempre maggiore di iniziative per portare le aziende a collaborare con startup, esperti e partner tecnologici per co creare soluzioni concrete.

Quello che emerge dal white paper non è soltanto una fotografia dello stato dell’arte, ma una direzione intrapresa. L’impatto non è un vincolo, ma un’occasione per rispondere alle richieste del mercato e diventare più competitivi. Per le imprese significa accrescere il business, migliorare la reputazione, attrarre nuovi talenti e contribuire allo sviluppo dei territori.
