Undici anni di impatto positivo misurabile: è il percorso tracciato dal fondo “Investimenti Sostenibili” di Sella Sgr, la società di gestione del risparmio del gruppo Sella, raccontato nella nuova edizione del Report di Impatto che rendiconta i risultati ambientali e sociali generati dal fondo.

Gli investimenti in portafoglio possono infatti contribuire, direttamente e indirettamente, al raggiungimento degli Obiettivi di Sviluppo Sostenibile (SDGs) dell’Agenda 2030 delle Nazioni Unite, con effetti che riguardano diversi ambiti, dalla transizione energetica all’inclusione sociale, fino allo sviluppo di soluzioni sanitarie ed educative. In alcuni casi si tratta di impatti trasversali, in altri di risultati quantitativamente misurabili.

I risultati del 2025
Durante lo scorso anno, il fondo “Investimenti Sostenibili” ha consolidato ulteriormente il proprio impegno a favore dello sviluppo sostenibile, generando un impatto positivo misurabile in molteplici settori in Italia e all’estero, tra cui:

Accesso all'istruzione e inclusione sociale – Il dato più significativo del 2025 riguarda l'istruzione: 2.833 studenti hanno beneficiato di percorsi educativi sostenuti dalle aziende in portafoglio, con una crescita del 401% rispetto ai 565 dell'anno precedente. In aumento anche il contributo all'abitare sociale, con 18 persone accolte in soluzioni di social housing (+12,5%), e all'agricoltura sostenibile, con 103 agricoltori supportati, più che raddoppiati rispetto al 2024.

Energia e transizione climatica – Sul fronte energetico, lo scorso anno ha registrato un significativo aumento (+67%) nella capacità produttiva installata con 30 megawatt di energia da fonti rinnovabili messi in esercizio rispetto ai 18 MW dell'anno precedente. La produzione di energia rinnovabile si è attestata a 40.329 MWh, sostanzialmente in linea con il 2024.

Clima e gestione dei rifiuti – Nel 2025, sono state evitate 16.111 tonnellate di emissioni di CO₂ e 880 tonnellate di rifiuti, risultati sostanzialmente stabili rispetto al 2024 e coerenti con un portafoglio orientato alla continuità dell'impatto.

“Il Report di Impatto esprime l’essenza del nostro impegno verso gli investitori, fondato su due principi fondamentali quali la misurabilità e l’intenzionalità. Non è un semplice esercizio di etichettatura, ma la conferma della volontà di generare un impatto concreto e misurabile, attraverso la valutazione degli effetti positivi delle nostre scelte di investimento. Dobbiamo essere consapevoli che la sostenibilità è un impegno collettivo, un obiettivo condiviso che riguarda tutti: e ciascuno di noi è quindi chiamato a contribuire al raggiungimento di questo traguardo comune” afferma Mario Romano, Amministratore Delegato di Sella Sgr.

Un modello di investimento integrato
Il fondo utilizza un modello di investimento che coniuga rendimento, rischio e impatto, selezionando strumenti finanziari tramite un doppio criterio: analisi ESG e valutazione finanziaria. Il portafoglio, composto da circa 175 strumenti, include obbligazioni green, social e sustainability, oltre a titoli azionari.

Attraverso la selezione di questi strumenti, il fondo supporta il finanziamento di numerosi progetti promossi da società a livello globale. Tra questi, il recupero dell'alluminio da scarti industriali per ridurre il ricorso all'estrazione primaria, il rifinanziamento di impianti eolici esistenti per massimizzarne l'efficienza senza consumo di nuovo territorio, il sostegno all'imprenditoria femminile nel Regno Unito attraverso strumenti di credito dedicati e lo sviluppo di nuove terapie pediatriche contro la malaria.

Il fondo, nato nel 1999 come fondo etico, è diventato nel 2015 uno dei primi fondi comuni in Italia con una politica di investimento a impatto. Dal 2021, è classificato come prodotto finanziario che persegue obiettivi di investimento sostenibili ai sensi dell’Articolo 9 del Regolamento SFDR.
