Banca Sella e Visa rafforzano la loro partnership siglando un accordo pluriennale per il lancio di nuovi servizi nell’ambito dei pagamenti digitali con l’obiettivo di migliorare ulteriormente l’esperienza delle famiglie e promuovere scelte di consumo più consapevoli e sostenibili.

L’intesa, tra le prime del suo genere in Italia, consentirà a Banca Sella di introdurre nuove funzionalità digitali avanzate accessibili tramite app, con particolare attenzione agli aspetti ESG e con un focus sulla sostenibilità ambientale, grazie all'integrazione delle tecnologie della piattaforma Tink di Visa e degli insights sulla sostenibilità alimentati dall’IA fornite da Clarity AI.

I clienti di Banca Sella potranno così conoscere l'impatto ambientale dei propri acquisti effettuati con carte, inclusa la misurazione stimata delle emissioni di CO₂ generate, e ricevere al contempo indicazioni mirate per aumentare la consapevolezza ambientale e favorire scelte di consumo più responsabili e sostenibili.

A ciascun pagamento effettuato viene infatti associata una specifica categoria merceologica e, anche grazie ad un questionario sulle abitudini di consumo del cliente e all’utilizzo di algoritmi avanzati e modelli di intelligenza artificiale, è possibile stimare il quantitativo di CO₂ prodotto da ogni singola transazione. L’esito di questa analisi viene presentato con un indicatore chiaro e facilmente consultabile dal cliente direttamente nella sezione dell’app dedicata al monitoraggio delle proprie spese.

Secondo lo studio “New Analysis Shows ecolytiq’s Proven Impact” condotto da Clarity AI, basato sui dati trimestrali di diverse banche a livello globale, una maggiore consapevolezza e educazione dei clienti, insieme ai potenziali cambiamenti comportamentali associati all’utilizzo della soluzione di Clarity AI, potrebbero contribuire a una riduzione stimata delle emissioni di CO₂ fino a circa il 13% per utente.
