Visite guidate e gratuite all’Open Innovation Center di Torino del gruppo Sella in occasione dell’ottava edizione di Open House Torino, l’evento pubblico dedicato alla visita di case, palazzi e luoghi di interesse, per scoprire così la ricchezza dell’architettura e del paesaggio urbano torinese. 

Sabato 7 e domenica 8 giugno, dalle 10,00 alle 19,00, infatti, torinesi e turisti potranno visitare il nuovo polo del gruppo Sella, inaugurato lo scorso ottobre, che ospita tutte le competenze di consulenza specializzata del Gruppo nei suoi diversi ambiti di attività, con l’obiettivo di sviluppare un’innovazione finalizzata a generare un impatto positivo sociale, economico, ambientale e per il territorio.

L’Open Innovation Center sorge in Corso Galileo Ferraris, 32 a Torino. Nel 2019 il gruppo Sella ha acquistato l’immobile, già sede della Juventus F.C. dal 2002 al 2018, che, dopo la ristrutturazione, si sviluppa su una superficie complessiva di circa 5.500 metri quadrati e può ospitare fino a 480 persone.

A fine 2020, il gruppo Sella ha avviato una collaborazione con lo studio CRA - Carlo Ratti Associati - per ripensare gli spazi di lavoro e gli uffici del futuro, dando vita ad ambienti più adatti a lavorare nel nuovo contesto caratterizzato dalla trasformazione digitale e dall’open innovation. 

Uno degli aspetti chiave del progetto è stata “l’apertura alla città”, ovvero la creazione di un luogo di lavoro aperto dove potessero essere affiancate funzioni private con funzioni aperte al pubblico.  L'ingresso all'edificio è stato quindi ridefinito in corrispondenza del corpo di fabbrica centrale ampliando il marciapiede e creando una nuova piazzetta pubblica all’angolo dei due corsi: una nuova gradonata collega lo spazio pubblico alla hall e ad un ampio spazio destinato al nuovo bistrot caffetteria.

È in quest’ottica di apertura che il gruppo Sella aderisce, così, all’ottava edizione di “Open House Torino”, un evento pubblico totalmente gratuito, pensato per permettere di visitare case, palazzi e luoghi di interesse, abitualmente non accessibili, e scoprire così la ricchezza dell’architettura e del paesaggio urbano. L’idea di Open House nasce a Londra nel 1992 dal lavoro della fondatrice Victoria Thornton e da allora si è diffusa nel mondo. Ad oggi le città della rete Open House Worldwide sono più di quaranta, distribuite in ogni continente.
