Le piccole e medie imprese italiane si trovano oggi ad affrontare una fase decisiva per la propria competitività, caratterizzata dall’accelerazione della trasformazione tecnologica, dall’aumento dei costi operativi e dalla difficoltà di reperire risorse e competenze per innovare. È in questo contesto che nasce LAND, il nuovo programma nazionale sviluppato da Sellalab, la piattaforma di innovazione a impatto di Sella, e CIM, il Centro di Competenza Nazionale per la trasformazione digitale e sostenibile dell’industria manifatturiera, riconosciuto dal Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy come punto di riferimento per l’innovazione applicata, con l’obiettivo di accompagnare le oltre 22.000 PMI dei distretti industriali italiani nella realizzazione di progetti di innovazione.

Il programma
LAND propone un percorso operativo che consente alle imprese di partire da un’esigenza concreta, identificare le tecnologie più adatte per affrontarla e arrivare a sviluppare “proof of concept” o prototipi validati in ambiente industriale. L’obiettivo è ridurre la distanza tra l’idea e l’applicazione pratica, consentendo alle aziende di valutare con dati oggettivi il potenziale delle nuove soluzioni prima di investire nella loro adozione su larga scala. Il programma si rivolge alle imprese appartenenti ai distretti industriali del Paese e sui settori a maggiore vocazione manifatturiera, tra cui aerospazio, agroalimentare, automotive e tessile. In questi ambiti, l’adozione di tecnologie avanzate rappresenta una leva sempre più rilevante per migliorare efficienza, qualità, sostenibilità dei processi e capacità competitiva sui mercati nazionali e internazionali.

L’iniziativa nasce dall’integrazione delle competenze di Sellalab in ambito di open innovation, scouting tecnologico, accesso a strumenti di finanza agevolata e soluzioni di credito coerenti con i fabbisogni di innovazione emersi, con quelle di CIM nella sperimentazione industriale, validazione di tecnologie e nello sviluppo di competenze strategiche.

Come funziona
La prima fase del programma prevede un assessment tecnico direttamente in azienda finalizzato a individuare le principali aree di miglioramento e le opportunità di sviluppo. Successivamente viene attivata una ricerca mirata di soluzioni attraverso gli ecosistemi di innovazione di Sellalab e CIM, che comprendono startup, scale-up e aziende specializzate in tecnologie avanzate e servizi per l’industria. Le soluzioni selezionate vengono quindi validate attraverso attività di prototipazione realizzate nei laboratori CIM e testate sulle linee e sui macchinari dell’impresa. Al termine del percorso, l’azienda riceve un report di valutazione tecnologica che certifica il livello di maturità raggiunto dalla soluzione e rappresenta uno strumento utile per dialogare con investitori, partner industriali e istituti finanziari.
