Una mostra che racconta la vita di Quintino Sella e il suo rapporto con la montagna e l’alpinismo nonché il suo ruolo nella nascita del Corpo degli Alpini.

Il gruppo Sella, in collaborazione con la Fondazione Sella e la direzione artistica di Banca Patrimoni Sella & C., ha promosso la mostra fotografica “Quintino Sella, lo statista con gli scarponi” che sarà possibile visitare in Piazza Club Alpino Italiano Biella, nel cortile esterno al Palazzone, sede di Banca Patrimoni Sella & C., nei giorni della 96ª Adunata Nazionale degli Alpini 2025 che si terrà a Biella dal 9 all’11 maggio.

L’allestimento, curato dalla Fondazione Sella in collaborazione con la Direzione Artistica di Banca Patrimoni Sella & C, presenta 20 grandi pannelli fotografici che raccontano la vita e l’opera di Quintino Sella, evidenziando in particolare il suo ruolo fondamentale nella valorizzazione della montagna e dell’alpinismo e nella nascita del Corpo degli Alpini, offrendo ai visitatori l’opportunità di conoscere un momento rilevante nella storia del Corpo degli Alpini, in concomitanza con la grande adunata a Biella. 
 
Questa mostra si inserisce nelle prime iniziative per le celebrazioni del bicentenario della nascita di Quintino Sella.
