Sulle vette dell’Annapurna in un’appassionante quanto complessa. Un percorso che implica allenamento costante nella preparazione, conoscenza evoluta della montagna, gioco di squadra in ogni tappa. Una nuova spedizione conclusa da poco sull’Himalaya per il Club Alpino Italiano (CAI) di Biella, dopo quella dell’estate 2024 che ha raggiunto la vetta del K2. Questa volta la destinazione è stata l’Annapurna, una delle vette più temibili e impegnative dell’Himalaya con i suoi 8.091 metri, con l’obiettivo di aprire una nuova via sullo sperone Nord-Ovest. Gli alpinisti in missione hanno anche consegnato una miniatura dell’opera “Unione Olimpica” dell’artista biellese Paolo Barichello, donata alla comunità nepalese di Waku dove è viva la memoria di Martino Borrione, delegato del Soccorso alpino biellese e fondatore della Onlus Bi-Nepal. Un’opera che rappresenta quei valori che i protagonisti porteranno fino alle pendici dell’Annapurna.

Consapevolezza e passione. Un binomio vincente che vale anche per le persone, ma anche per le organizzazioni. Anche in quelle attività che rendicontano quello che si fa, che per le migliori realtà è specchio di quello che si è. In questo nuovo appuntamento del #CosaCambia partiamo dalla missione promossa dal CAI e sostenuta anche dal gruppo Sella. E poi raccontiamo la Rendicontazione Consolidata di Sostenibilità, il documento annuale che illustra performance e progetti che fotografano l’esercizio 2024, ma andando anche oltre. Perché si guarda al futuro con una visione prospettica di medio-lungo termine. Al centro della riflessione c’è “Fotografare il presente, interrogarsi sul futuro”.

In questo #CosaCambia le sfide ambientali e sociali vengono viste anche dalle nuove generazioni. Quasi ventimila studenti. Perché tanti sono stati i giovani che hanno ricevuto il Premio Atleta Studente, l’iniziativa del gruppo Sella rivolta agli studenti delle scuole secondarie biellesi. Da questa generazione Z riparte il nostro racconto. Perché per disegnare il futuro ci mettiamo in ascolto di chi lo abiterà per davvero
