Consulting, training and export projects. One year of the Trace platform
In a year like the one that has just passed, small and medium-sized enterprises have often had to deal with an unusual and particular scenario, which has forced them to change their habits, processes, collection and payment methods and, why not, also the reference market. Internationalization represents a possibility for many companies, a springboard to get in touch with potential new customers and introduce them to their products.
Precisely to support companies to go beyond national borders, Banca Sella launched Trace just over a year ago, an innovative consulting portal dedicated to SMEs to accompany them in the resumption of business after the Covid 19 emergency, also looking at international markets and import-export. In one year, the platform, which aggregates its own and third-party products and services, has grown considerably.
In the year just ended, Trace: a platform created within an "innovation Bootcamp" that the Sella group launched among its employees in the summer of 2018, supported several companies to expand their borders, for example by helping them in the activation of operational projects, to foster export activities to India, South Africa, China and the United States.
Webinars and other virtual events also took place, involving over 600 participants, to worldwide promote products and countries, thus spreading a financial culture of internationalization and establishing vertical partnerships with qualified interlocutors in the industry. In addition, eight selected partners with specific skills can provide answers and assistance through the platform to subjects registered on Trace, who have progressively grown over the months.
Over 400 provided consultancies were a significant service to raise awareness of all the opportunities related to international trade, thus optimizing times and costs that small and medium-sized businesses must face to continually improving their prospects and acquiring competitiveness in the market. The debate among companies provided us with much constructive feedback to improve the Trace portal, grow and offer the best solutions to all users.
The platform, accessible at trace.sella.it, offers a wide range of services and products for foreign trade, both for customers and non-customers of Banca Sella. By registering for free on the Trace platform, among the various opportunities, companies can create ad hoc scenarios through a wizard by entering some simple information. The generated scenarios highlight products and services that the customer can use for its expansion and growth.
