Dal 29 ottobre 2025, in occasione della settimana dell'arte contemporanea torinese, l'artista Ferdi Giardini presenta la sua ultima esposizione Essenze di Luce nello storico Palazzo Bricherasio in via Lagrange 20 a Torino, oggi sede istituzionale di Banca Patrimoni Sella & C. 

Questa mostra, a cura della direttrice artistica Daniela Magnetti, è un'esperienza che combina arte, design e sensorialità in un connubio unico e suggestivo, capace di trasportare il visitatore in un mondo di bellezza ed emozione.

Entrando in sintonia con la storia e l'architettura del luogo, Ferdi Giardini ne ha estrapolato l’essenza trasformandola in un concerto armonico di forme e di cromie. I numerosi schizzi, uniti ai tanti pensieri tracciati a matita sul suo inseparabile quaderno, sono testimonianza dell’intenso lavoro di ricerca portato avanti per realizzare le installazioni site-specific della mostra.  

Nelle esedre che portano al cortile interno, il visitatore incontra Rituali di luce, sei sottili sculture in alluminio e led che mettono in connessione il Palazzo con l’esterno e catturano gli sguardi dei passanti incuriositi da frammenti di luce sospesa. 

Negli spazi aulici l’esperienza è opposta: le opere si mimetizzano con gli stucchi dorati, le specchiere e i grandi arazzi sfidando l’occhio a essere scoperte. Per ciascuna delle sei sale del piano nobile Ferdi Giardini plasma, senza farsi intimorire, una composizione capace di dialogare sottovoce con le tante meraviglie cariche di storia. Trovare Neutrini stabilizzati o Impulsi è ardua impresa fino a quando non rivelano la loro anima luminosa. 

L'esperienza non si limita alla vista: Il misterioso verde, l’umido pungente nero-ambra e l’arancio del tramonto, un olio essenziale creato appositamente dall’artista, è uno stimolo olfattivo che completa e arricchisce il percorso sensoriale del visitatore.

Il ritorno di Ferdi Giardini a Palazzo Bricherasio, dopo l’esposizione nel 2002, è un evento che conferma la profonda connessione tra l’artista e questo luogo unico. Essenze di luce riaccende la magia di quel legame, offrendo ai visitatori un’occasione preziosa di vivere l’arte contemporanea in un contesto storico e culturale di grande valore nel patrimonio artistico della città.
